Celebrating Our Journey: Reflections and Milestones at Curv 🎉

It’s time for your monthly round-up of all things Curv. I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared together. From the ground up, we’ve built something special as a crew, and it’s time to shout out our wins loud and proud. 🧡
🌱 Growing Together
Remember when we kicked things off back in September 2022? We were like a secret club, and now look at us – a bustling community of 1500 strong! It’s crazy to think that just 18 weeks in, we were still flying under the radar, with only our insiders knowing about our project. But man, did things pick up fast! Our dev team, marketing wizards, investor whisperers, designers, data nerds, and community builders – everyone came together to make magic happen. Our movement makers, you know who you are, were the real MVPs. Remember that first week? We were all about invites, and boom, 240 new members jumped on board. That’s like each of our existing members bringing in two new friends in just one week! By March 2024, we hit that magic 1500 mark. Sure, we’re not Instagram or TikTok massive, but that was never the goal. We wanted a crew who’d rather chat about Ellie’s dog walks or the coolest café in London, rather than just double-tap a selfie. Quality over quantity, always.
✌️ Reactions and Responses
Let’s talk about the heart and soul of Curv – our reactions and responses. These aren’t just your typical likes and comments – we take them seriously. Across the platform, we’ve had 3176 posts that sparked over 9900 reactions and fueled more than 10600 conversations. Whether it’s Jake’s stunning sunset photos or tips on the best vintage shops in sustainable fashion, you all have been incredible. Our members showed love and appreciation for each other by applauding each other’s efforts over 4200 times and supporting each other over 2100 times. And let’s not forget about the impact – these posts inspired our members to take action nearly 2400 times and informed them over 1150 times. That’s what makes Curv more than just another social media platform – it’s a community where every interaction matters.
💥 Our L7 Score Journey
Now, let’s talk L7 scores – the heartbeat of our community. This score tells us how often you’re hanging out with us on Curv each week. From day one, our L7 score rarely dropped below 2. Even with new faces joining the crew, y’all kept coming back, logging in at least 2 days a week. And remember last Christmas? While other socials were taking a holiday nap, we hit a solid 3 on the L7 scale. Maybe Santa’s secretly a Curv fan? But here’s the kicker – we never aimed for a perfect L7 of 7. Our goal was always about building a world where social media fits seamlessly into your life, not the other way around. We wanted you to pop onto Curv alternately, making it a natural part of your life.
🙌 Steady Retention
And lastly, let’s talk about our solid retention. The numbers speak for themselves – after 4 weeks, retention stands at a solid 51%, with a resilient 41% after 12 weeks. Sure, it’s dropped a bit since November 2022 when it was at 50% after 12 weeks, but it’s still holding strong. It’s a testament to the strong bonds we’ve built and the incredible community we’ve become.
It’s been a wild few months and it’s you, our amazing community that have kept us pushing forward. Thank you so much for being with us on this adventure. 🫶
